LADY BIRD JOHNSON WILDFLOWER CENTER
This month Wild Boyz Photography is supporting the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Based out of Austin, Texas, the Wildflower Center has been in operation since 1982 when it was founded by Lady Bird Johnson (former first lady) and Helen Hayes. The Wildflower Center is dedicated to inspiring the conservation of native plants. It does so through its gardens, educational programs, ecological research, off-site consulting and more. In 2017, it was designated the Botanic Garden of Texas.
The Wildflower Center works to provide nature education while being the botanic garden of Texas. The center works on plant conservation and ecological design research.
The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is dedicated to "inspiring the conservation of native plants".
