This year, Wild Boyz Photography had the pleasure of partnering with eleven great nonprofits. 75% of your Giving Tuesday donation will go directly to the nonprofit of your choice, or you can choose for your donation to be evenly split amongst all options. To find out more about all eleven of our profits and what they are raising money for, you have come to the right place! We have provided some dollar amounts to help you visualize your donations, and you can click each organization's logo to view their featured impact story!
January 2020: Ocean Defenders Alliance
$10 - Buys one hand-held trash grabber
$25 - Purchases one net-cutting knife with lanyard
$50 - Covers gas for our debris-retrieval small boat
$100 - Pays for one debris lift bag
$150 - Covers the service for two dive regulators (necessary breathing devices!)
$300 - Provides diesel fuel for one debris-removal outing
April 2020: Glen Canyon Conservancy
$10 - Supplies volunteers with sunscreen, gloves, and water
$20 - Supports meal and gas for one Lake Powell Symposium participant
$50 - Stocks the Powell Museum with archival materials such as sleeves and boxes for preserving the history of Page, AZ and surrounding areas
$100 - Supplies one day of meals to 25 tribal youth and elders during a boat trip to educate about fish species, the Colorado River, and the Incentivized Harvest Program
July 2020: Ocean Blue Project
$10 - Plants 2 Trees for Streams
$20 - Removes 20 pounds of plastic from our one world ocean
$50 - Provides a marine Debris Kit for classroom education
$100 - Plants 2 Trees for Streams, removes 40 pounds of plastic, and provides a Marine Debris Kit for classroom education.
August 2020: Outdoor Afro
$10 - Promotes culturally competent programing and staffing in parks to help more people feel welcome and understood
$25 - Empowers more Black people to become informed and empowered advocates to protect public lands
$50 - Supports increased and diverse participation and executive leadership in the Outdoor Recreation Economy
$100 - Defends the protection of sacred public lands and the communities that depend on them
September 2020: ReLeaf Michigan
$10 - Purchases tools for tree plantings such as shovels, gloves, and buckets
$20 - Purchases a gator bag to keep newly planted trees watered and healthy
$50 - Pays travel expenses for one of our tree experts to conduct a tree workshop
$100 - Helps us buy more trees, carefully selected for each Michigan community
November 2020: Continental Divide Trail Coalition
$35 - Buys 5 pairs of trail work gloves
$50 - Feeds 5 volunteers for one day
$100 - Provides 5 trail saws for Trail Adopters
$250 - Feeds 25 volunteers for one day
$500 - Sponsors 1 Gateway Community Ambassador
$1000 - Supports 1 Gateway Community Designation
