Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center is dedicated to the promotion of nature education
Rock Hollow Woods Environmental Learning Center is dedicated to the promotion of nature education. Throughout the year, they have used donations to acquire an additional 45 acres for program exploration and discovery, provide need-based scholarships to camp families, begin their nature-based Pre-K program, and partner with Voice Up Berks and Youth Volunteer Corps to provide service and leadership opportunities for teens. They also expanded their education programming, such as STEM Exploration and Seasonal Art Drawing, helping to meet the educational needs of children throughout the year. In addition to those great activities, Rock Hollow Woods worked to create an orienteering map that is used during a variety of programs, and continued to host Girl and Boy Scout programs throughout 2020.
In 2021, they plan to: provide programs to improve the well-being of children during the pandemic, host family events, blaze and mark trails, offer programs for adults, and continue to improve their learning environment. Consider making a donation to Rock Hollow Woods today to help promote their nature education activities!
