This photo was taken on a multi day kayak trip in the Florida Keys.  I was paddling past this small red mangrove tree at sunrise.  I probably took 50 photos here as the sun was coming up.  Of those photos, this is my favorite because the clouds had just started to break up, and the sunlight was pouring through the center of the mangrove.  To get this photo I had to position my kayak upwind, then drift into the area I needed to be to get the photo I wanted.
